PICOSOS’ PEANUT COMPANY INC., is a WOMAN OWNED, SMALL BUSINESS, established in Helotes, TX in 1977. We have worked hard to increase our business and have been quite sucessful with our ventures into the retail and the military markets within the State of Texas and the Central United States.

At our operation in Helotes, we have production and warehouse capabilities especially designed for packaging and shipment of all types of peanuts. “TEXAS” peanuts are used when they are available. Only when the raw product is not available within Texas are other peanuts used. Picosos’ is approved as an Official “TASTE OF TEXAS COMPANY” by the Government of the United States, which provides considerable assistance to the growers.

While there are little or no competetive products available, our pricing strategy is aggressive as we want to establish and continue to maintain a high quality reputation with our customers. We are in the business for the long haul and are totally dedicated to the military market. We realize that the quality of our product and the service we give are essential to our growth. We receive letters from our customers almost daily telling us how much they enjoy our quality products.

In conjunction with the efforts of our Military Brokers, we support our business with the use of local distributors, coupons, in store demonstrations and aggressive pricing promotions.

In addition to the Texas Retail and our Military business, we also enjoy a substantial mail order business.
